The Black Project Hammer GT slalom / race fins are for those looking for power and control in a shorter fin outline
The Black Project Hammer GT windsurfing fin range is the elite level racing and slalom foil from the Black Project range. Building on the success and extensive testing of the Type R, it took more than two years to make something better...and this is the result.
Designed to give ultimate grip and control in a slightly more compact and powerful outline than the original Type R, this is a heavy hitting and powerful fin...hence the name!
The profile is very similar to the Type R and delivers excellent all-round slalom and race performance. Black Project tweaked the foil to deliver power in a more refined way, in essence delivering the power in a more manageable way, with a more progressive release. Without losing the low-end drive, they have successfully increased the top-end speed and control.
These fins are ideally suited for bigger riders, on bigger boards, and for use in lighter winds. 35cm – 60cm sizes are spaced with 2.5cm increments.
Riders converting from the Type R will be able to substitute the new Hammer into their range without having to buy a complete quiver (immediately).
