USED MauiSails Carbon Boom 190-240cm
This is a USED MauiSails Carbon Boom 190-240cm, ideal for windsurf slalom, racing and cruising. Comes complete with adjustable outhaul, uphaul and harness lines as pictured.
These carbon booms were the best carbon boom on the market at one point in time. Realistically they are still an excellent boom offering excellent strength to weight, very comfortable to use on the hands, the clamp is excellent, and the tail is easy to adjust and simple to setup.
In very good condition throughout. The grip has the usual usage marks, and some of the grip has been glued back on…all very normal and is to be expected. Clamp, boom arms, boom tail, tail section pulleys, and adjustable outhaul all are in good condition. The tail adjuster clips are ok for the moment…they don’t appear to need replacing yet, but it would be good to order up some replacements to have ready when they do fail (it is normal for these to fail after some years).
Boom has been well cared for otherwise…boom was in use until it was dropped to Bigsurf. Previous owner is very well known to us. And this boom was also supplied originally from Bigsurf, so we know it’s history…it’s a good one!
Highly recommended if you need a boom in this size. And this is bargain! The adjustable outhaul, uphaul and harness lines are worth €100+ alone!
