The tendon joint is probably the most important part of your whole windsurfing equipment.  It is strongly recommended to replace this joint every 2 years at minimum.  If you see any signs of cracking, replace immediately, as it will fail when you are using it out on the water, in turn risking injury to yourself and damage to your equipment.

Suitable for beginners through to pro, this joint allows movement of your rig in all directions.  The tendon compared to the more flexible Boge joint offers a more direct feel from your rig to your board, so you can transmit more of your rigs power to your board.

This item is for just the joint itself...you can replace your existing universal joint by disassembling the base.  Please feel free to ask us if you are unsure on how to do this.

It`s worthwhile having a spare in your vehicle or gear bag...this is the MOST important part of your whole rig!  Again to stress...never use one of these if it is cracked.
