MauiSails TR7 6.3m
This MauiSails TR7 6.3m was the top of range race sail from MauiSails. This one belonged to ‘Pearse at Bigsurf’, which was then cared for by a good customer and friend of Bigsurf.
We look back on the sails of this era and realise how good they were. Massively stable, controllable, and fast, this sail is in excellent condition for its age. One repair completed to the luff around the boom area (likely a derigging error causing damage), the remainder of the sail is in excellent condition.
Ideal for good intermediate to expert riders, who can rig it on a good 430cm SDM mast (ideally 100% carbon), and for someone who has no issue waterstarting (as the large luff will fill with water if dropped for too long). This one could also make a light wind speed sail. Rigs on a 185cm boom with 8cm downhaul.
NOTE: This sail is NOT for beginners.
