Severne Tendon Universal Joint – Genuine part

This Severne Tendon is the genuine replacement part for Severne mast bases.

This Severne Tendon is the most important part of your whole windsurfing equipment.  This keeps everything together when in use and lets you drive the power from your rig down into your board.

It is strongly recommended to replace this tendon every 2 years at very minimum.  Most riders replace them annually.  If you see any signs of cracking, replace immediately, as it will fail when you are using it out on the water, in turn risking injury to yourself and damage to your equipment.

Suitable for intermediates through to pro, this Severne tendon joint allows movement of your rig in all directions.

Compared to the more flexible Boge joint offers a more direct feel from your rig to your board, so you can transmit more of your rigs power to your board.

It`s worthwhile having a spare in your vehicle or gear bag...this is the MOST important part of your whole rig!  Again to stress...never use one of these if it is cracked or showing signs of failure in any way.
