Starboard Carve 171 Wood (Intermediate)
This is a USED Starboard Carve 171 freeride windsurfing board in the wood construction.
The Starboard Carve model range is probably the most successful range of freeride windsurfing boards that ever existed! A modern shape that planes early, offers good control, and plenty stability and reassurance.
This board is suited for a beginner who is comfortable keeping upwind, to good intermediate riders who are enjoying planing performance when nicely powered up, with easy gybing. A great board for heavier riders given its size at 171 litres of volume. Also great for riders who want extra stability.
Board is supplied with 4 no. footstraps (previous owner only liked to use 2 no. installed in the back as pictured), and a good Drake 52cm tuttle fin. We can provide a bag if you require one, please ask us.
Condition of this board is good overall. It was much loved by it's previous owner, so it shows normal signs of use. There is paint scratches, there is a couple of very small dings which have been tended to, but all these are as would be expected from a much loved "go-to" board. Footstraps and fin all in good condition also.
This board would have been €1850-€2000 when supplied new. Collection preferred from our Waterford warehouse. Grab yourself a VERY rare, used, big, freeride board.
