USED RRD Evolution 7.5m - Intermediate level

This USED RRD Evolution 7.5m is the perfect sail for progressed beginner to intermediate level riders looking to have some fun on the water. In excellent condition, as it’s only been used a few times. Looks fantastic too!

This USED RRD Evolution 7.5m is RRD’s freeride model…it’s designed to be simple to rig and tune, with no cambers to worry about, and it is a very easy to use sail. This means extracting the power and speed from it is easily achieved.

For beginner level riders, this is a strongly built sail, that is easy to rig, and easy to tune. You will need the basics of being able to windsurf before choosing this size…ideally you will have 40 hours practice before jumping onto this sail size. There is lots of performance available as you progress, as this is a forgiving sail to use.

For intermediate and more established riders, this sail is easy to rig and tune. Simple waterstarting from its narrow luff tube. Easy uphauling from it’s light weight even if its a 7.5m. This is a sail you can take and use everywhere…it’ll plane early, hold decent power, and won’t embarass you on the race course either!

We have riders enjoying these for use with their hydrofoils…lack of cams make them more easy to power up and to de-power. Lovely and light weight. In fact this actual sail was used to foil in 6 knots of wind…it has that much power and it’s light weight means very little drag.

Rigs on a 460cm RDM mast, with 7cm mast extension, and a 204-206cm boom.

CONDITION

Sail is in excellent condition….could be “like-new” except for maybe a few rigging marks and some sand!
