USED RRD Fire 7.2m - Intermediate to expert

This USED RRD Fire 7.2m is suitable for intermediate through to expert level riders looking to have fast fun on the water. In excellent condition, as it’s only been used a few times. Looks fantastic too!

This USED RRD Fire 7.2m is RRD’s performance freeride model…it’s designed to be simple to rig and tune, with no cambers to worry about, and it is a FAST sail.

They advertise these for fun racing also, as the additional battens in the larger sizes make it very stable to load up with power for more control and in turn more speed as the rider gains more confidence.

For intermediate level riders, this is a strong sail, that is easy to rig, easy to tune, and will perform for you over many years as you improve and progress your ability. Lots of performance available, but it is a forgiving sail to use that feels soft in the hands.

For experienced riders, this sail is powerful…it accelerates fast to a high top end speed. Really, to go faster you’ll need a cambered race sail…and it’s really only when horribly overpowered that you’d notice the extra stabiity from the cambers to let you go faster. But when it comes to a gybe, this no cam sail will let you transition from tack to tack faster as it has a lightweight feel. Great resale value on this also…will keep it’s value as these are always in demand.

We have riders enjoying these for use on their foils…lack of cams make them more easy to power up and to de-power.

Rigs on a 460cm SDM mast, with 10cm mast extension, and a 204-209cm boom.

CONDITION

Sail is in excellent condition….could be “like-new” except for maybe a few rigging marks and some sand!
